The first outdoor presentation at OpenSpace Film takes place Friday July 23, 2021 (rain date: July 30) with a series of short films by the award-winning filmmaker Casimir Nozkowski. Nozkowski’s work has been featured on The Tonight Show, PBS, MSNBC, cited in the New York Times and his films have been shown at the MOMA (Museum of Modern Art). This program is a testament to Nozkowski’s sensitive and wry observations: “…you’re just living your life and forget the kind of interesting things that are happening around you and all the real life that’s happening around you.” “These films will make you laugh, and cry with their humanity. Bring your own seating, your friends, refreshments of your choosing and get ready for films at twilight!” (Ted Lind, Board Member and Program Committee Chair). Nozkowski Shorts screen Friday July 23, 2021 (rain date: July 30), 9:00pm, outdoors at ARTSPLACE, 396 St. George Street in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. Free event, but donations encouraged. COVID-19 guidelines will be observed. |
Casimir Nozkowski has generously provided these films to ARTSPLACE without charge. He invites you to view his first feature film, “The Outside Story.” Available to rent or purchase HERE
